One Message Websites

A certain species of website exist for a while, now. In my opinion, it deserved a better treatment understanding and knowledge. Or better: a catalog. These websites are often funny, sometimes useful or enlightening. They usually show a great creativity and cleverness.

These websites are usually the anwser to a deep question. And hopefully, they do answer the crucial questions with a single word, like: "Yes". Or "No".

I've nicknamed these websites "monomessages", and I used to collect them in a "bookmarks.txt" file that I'm keeping in my Dropbox and I'm updating when I'm stumbling upon one of these gems of shortness and intelligence.

I've had this idea for a while, and now I'm diving into it: I've opened a blog talking about these "One Message Websites". The very first website is about to be published on december, 1st 2009, and I intend to keep on regulary blog about them.

I've got some interesting material, and thus a few weeks (months?) of all-prepared websites to show to the public. But the Internet is wide and I may have missed some of them. You may help contribute by sending an email (in English or French) to:

You may want to follow the "One Message Websites" twitter account, too.
